Dr. Terry Wong

Dr. Terry Wong

Dentist

Dr. Terry Wong was born in Hong Kong in 1958 when the city was still part of the British Empire.  He immigrated to Canada  with his family in 1967, the year of the Centennial.  Terry grew up in Mississauga (formerly Cooksville) until he went to the St. George campus of the University of Toronto.

Terry graduated in 1985 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).  He briefly worked as an associate in a couple of offices in the greater Toronto area as well as being a staff dentist at the Children’s Society of Toronto.  Terry purchased his current practice in 1989.  At that time the practice was in Dundalk and Flesherton.  Terry expanded the practice in 1994 and moved the Flesherton branch to Markdale.

Currently Terry practices general dentistry in the two offices.  He has privileges at the Markdale Hospital site of Grey Bruce Health Services.

Terry and his wife Jacqueline have lived in the village of Kimberley for over thirty years.  They have three daughters.  Two, Michelle and Angelica, are working and living in Australia.  The youngest, Valentina, lives and works in Edmonton, Alberta.  Recently Jackie and Terry adopted a Sheepadoddle named Ruffus.

Dr. Sam Goodman

Dr. Sam Goodman

Dentist

Dr. Sam Goodman was born and raised in Markham, Ontario.

Sam’s passion for oral health was sparked at a young age as he grew up watching his father do what he loved most – dentistry. Sam graduated from McMaster University with an Honours degree in Health Sciences and a Master’s of Business Administration. He went on to study dentistry and graduated with distinction from Western University with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree.

Sam is an avid soccer player, playing for Canada at the Maccabiah Games in Israel and representing Ontario at the Canadian Nationals. He was also a member of the McMaster Marauders varsity soccer team, so sports is a big part of what he loves to do in his spare time. He also enjoys snowboarding, skiing, hiking, scuba, and basically any sport he can find time to play.

Sam spent the summer of 2014 providing needed dental outreach care to communities in Tanzania, Africa. He hopes to make outreach work an integral part of his dental career.

Sam and his wife Shannon, sons Tobin, Ellis and Jonah and dog Tommy are excited to call the Blue Mountains their home and are looking forward to becoming involved in the community. Growing up skiing in the area, Sam has developed an appreciation for the sense of community and natural beauty that the Blue Mountains area has to offer.
