Welcome Dr. Sam Goodman
I am very excited and please to inform you that recently I have sold my practice to Dr. Sam Goodman of Thornbury. Some of you will know Sam from the time when he worked as an associate in my practices. Please rest assured that the personal treatment you have come to expect from my staff, and I will not change. You will continue to see me as your primary dentist for the foreseeable future. What will change is that Sam will bring in expertise in areas of dentistry that I no longer do. As such you will be able to get treatment for these right here in Markdale or Dundalk. We are also able to tap into Sam’s main office in Collingwood. We can refer you to proper specialists in areas such as periodontics, endodontics and orthodontist in his Collingwood practice instead of having to go to Barrie, Orangeville or Brampton.
Sam’s passion for oral health was sparked at a young age as he grew up watching his father do what he loved most-dentistry. Sam graduated from McMaster University with an Honours degree in Health Sciences and a Masters in Business Administration. He went on to study dentistry and graduated with distinction from Western University with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree.
Sam is an avid soccer player, playing for Canada at the Maccabiah Gar in Israel and representing Ontario at the Canadian Nationals. He was a member of the McMaster Marauders varsity soccer team, so sports are a lot of what he loves to do in his spare time. He also enjoys snowboarding, skiing, scuba, and basically any sport he can find time to play.
Sam spent the summer of 2014 providing needed dental outreach care in communities in Tanzania, Africa. He hopes to make outreach work an integral part of his dental career.
Sam and his wife Shannon, sons Tobin, Ellis and Jonah and dog Tommy are excited to call the Blue Mountain their home. They are familiar with the local communities as Shannon’s family owns a home in Kimberley. Growing up skiing in the area, Sam and Shannon have developed an appreciation for the sense of community and natural beauty that this area has to offer.
We have recently seen enormous growth in the Dundalk and Markdale area. We as a practice are also seeing competition in our communities. We hope that you have been satisfied with our service and hope that you will continue to refer your friends and family to our care.
